Seattle and East Side Looking Good
In This Post
Northwest Multiple Listing Service releases February statistics.
There is nothing wrong with recovery and western Washington is delighted to see the latest report on closed sales for King County.
The Seattle Times article goes on to say that although Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland had prices rise year over year as well as the median value of homes sold, the out lying ares of Kind county saw declines. Declines in prices, yes, but more sales. It is thought that there are more short sales and foreclosures in these areas.
With sales volumes up 51% countywide, there is no reason for Realtors to complain. The tax credit period for first time buyers and move up buyers still has almost two months to go and the interest rates are low, low, low. Call your Realtor today and start looking for your next home.
