A look at the April statistics for the Ravenna neighborhood.
The energy in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle perked up significantly during April with 18 listings in the pending status. The 4 that closed were well into the mid-range with a sale price average of $516,891. The majority of those under contract now are below $400,000 though. Maybe that’s a reflection of the final month of the $8000 tax credit. New buyers choosing wisely, choosing location first.

I expect to see the inventory to grow slightly this month in Ravenna. I have noticed that many more people have raised beds in their yards this year and will be growing vegetables as well as cultivating the usually decorative landscaping. If planning to sell, they are probably thinking fall.
