Seattle Residential: I Do That: I Can Hear You Now

I Can Hear You Now

On a recent vacation in the Southwest, Marjie and I spent a day at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. We’ve been there a few times before and especially enjoy visiting an attraction in December that is essentially an outdoor experience.

We enjoyed a raptor demonstration where several species flew and perched in close proximity to the small crowd of observers. Various characteristics of how these birds hunt were demonstrated. You probably already knew that many species of owl have feathers tha allow them to fly silently so as not to warn their prey.

Later, a pair of cardinals wanted to share lunch with us and a hummingbird mistook the red light on my Kodak Zi8 for a nectar source.

After lunch we headed into one of the nocturnal venues to check out the night-life and Marjie captured this shot.

A Seattle Realtor who listens

I thought of it again today. I have an appointment with a new buyer and I always remind myself to listen closely to everything clients have to say. If you live in Seattle and are looking for a Realtor®, give me a call. I’d like to hear what you have to say.

Gerry - Needed the wide angle to get those ears in the picture.

Glenn - with those ears of yours, you'll hear your own buyers comments along with pierce county and probably half of thurston county

too! :)

I would suggest you consider updating your embed code for your youtube vid. You have a nice widescreen video clip there and it is letterboxing it in due to the proportions of the embed. If you go

bird on chair

out and get an updated code it should look more like this >>
thanks for sharing your nice video in our group!

Craig - Thanks. I'll have to study your tutorials more to grasp that and make the change.

Thanks for sharing your desert experience with us live via video Glen!  That was cool ~ You and Marjie are always doing neat things.
I like your idea of using video to show clients things to do in your area...  And how you weaved in your Realtor® skills as well.  Well done!

Glenn... Love the ears picture.  I think everyone should have a picture of themselves to give the visual to our clients of what great listeners we are.  Love the video, thought the bird was going to land on your camera, they were so close.  Thanks for sharing.

Christina - Photo-caricature transparency in other words. I like it. Post no picture of yourself taken more than two years ago.

I love this park - bring my out of state company here all of the time!  December was a beautiful month here in Tucson.  I really enjoyed the way you got the vivid reference to listening into your post.  You're such a creative guy, and funny too.  I'm sure there's kajillions of agents in Thurston County, but ever do any transactions with Marie Lynn?  She works with Re/Max now, but have been an agent in Seattle for years.  I've been trying to get her to join Active Rain.

Nice photo. Good reminder to listen just a little bit harder. Maybe I need bigger ears?

Glenn, I've seen raptor demonstrations and really enjoy them...thought it was pretty cool that the other birds got so close to you.
